It has recently been brought to my attention by several of my constituents that the Texas Department of Health is currently proposing rules for implementation of a state-wide immunization registry.

One such constituent was Ms. Angela Nash, who has contacted your office about her disapproval of these new rules. I concur with her points made to you in this letter dated August 28. My hope is that you will pay close attention, and give every consideration, to the objections raised in her letter so not to exceed the authority given to the Texas Department of Health by the legislature.
